BLUE ISLES (11) Ran 8th last run at Murray Bridge but back in an easier grade. Has the necessary speed to overcome the wide draw. Worth an investment. THE HIGHLANDER (5) Lost ground in the run home when 7th last time around here. Has shown early pace in races to date. Alyssa Webb provides some weight relief. Looks to be value. EMPRESS OF SOUL (6) Was well beaten when 10th last time at Gawler but back to an increased distance. Blinkers on could be an important change. Shows good closing speed. Exotics hope in this event.
