VELOCIRAPTOR (6) First up today. Gave a strong sight when 2nd beaten by 3L last time around here and challenged by less formidable competitors. Been in the money each attempt this preparation. Hard to overlook. WAR WARRIOR (2) Fresh from a break. Ran home strongly to win last start at the track and drawn nicely. Edwin Gonzalez is a crucial engagement. Prominent showing expected and won't be far off them. KORRONGO (1) Had a break from racing and returns to competition. Fairly underwhelming when 4th last time here but challenged by weaker competitors. Gets a favourable draw. One of the hopes. ROCKINGHAM JOE (4) Back from a break. Finished with intent when 3rd beaten by 3 1/2L last time here and going down in grade. Should be swooping on the field late. Not out of this.
