Tennis fans all around the world will have fond memories of their Nation’s participation in the Davis Cup over the years, and it was a proud moment when Stake was announced as the Official Global Partner of this prestigious tournament, in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). We will be part of all the excitement from the first serve in February’s Qualifiers to the title winning points at November’s Final 8 in Rome Italy, as the world’s finest players battle it out for glory to be crowned World Champions.
Steeped in History
Launched in 1900, the Davis Cup is steeped in tennis history and is the world’s largest annual international team competition in sport. A record 157 nations have entered in 2024. Last year, Italy, led by a masterful performance from Jannik Sinner, retained their title, defeating Netherlands in the Final. This year, Sinner will be among the world’s best male players striving to bring the title back to their country, with the culmination of the tournament taking place in the Champions’ capital city in November.
Truly Epic Matches
This year the competition will be hotter than ever with Australia, Canada, Serbia & USA looking likely to dethrone Italy as Champions. With the tournament moving back to its old format, with more head-to-head ties than in 2024, tennis purists are excited to see some truly epic matches and some of the world’s best players in action. The likes of Casper Ruud, Novak Djokovic, Alex De Minaur and Holger Rune, all of whom are in the world’s top 20, will be vying to lead their nation to glory.
