BLUE LAKODA (1) Disappointing effort when 7th last start around here but has drawn to do little work. Has good early speed and will be nicely positioned. Producing consistent results this campaign. One of the major players. SMOKY CHIPOTLE (4) Faded in the late stages of the race when 3rd last start at Q2 Parklands in 30.26s over 520m but down in distance. Can give this a shake. DEARDEN (6) Landed the spoils when winning last run at Rockhampton. Won't be far away during the run. Racing consistently this prep. Has to be included. APEX (2) Was competitive when 2nd last time here and demonstrating upward trajectory in recent races. In good condition this preparation. Has to be strongly considered.
